16-01-2003 00:00:00 :: A Big Gleeside
Hey there people. Sorry it's been
a long time between updates, but
it's been go go go here at Team
Jeb. We have been stuck in a
room with a big scrapbook and a
bottle of clag glue doing album
artwork, as you can see by the
design of the site now. Big up's to
Craig the webguru for the new
design, looks awesome. If you
are wondering what the hell is
going on with all the wierd
images, you should go into a CD
store on Mon 20th of this very
month and purchase our new
record ""Gleesides and Sparities"".
As the name suggests it's a
collection or rare stuff from over
the years. We did all the artwork
in the Good Looking Man design
warehouse (woof!) in North
Fremantle and are quite chuffed
at how twisted it is all looking.
Details of the new release should
be up in the discog now.
What else has been up? Well we
played two gigs on NYE, both of
which were a bunch of fun. Then
we got drunk and played cricket.
We are still rehearsing and
writing for the next album, and
we also did some rehearsals for
the BDO this week, until they got
shut down by noise complaints.
Girls blouses.
So we are on tour with the BDO
(and a show in Taree to make up
for the one we had to blow out)
for the next couple of weeks,
looking forward to catching up
with friends, seeing some good
bands and playing some rock
shows. See you out there, and
look after yourselves in the pit. "
19-02-2003 00:00:00 :: Update
Hi people, sorry for the delay in
updates (again) but we had so
much fun on the BDO we couldn't
face responsibility. Or something.
Anyway, like we said, the BDO
tour was amazing fun, we met
heaps of good people, played
some rock shows that even we
thought were pretty kickin, got
way too drunk way too often and
generally had a ball. Hats off the
all the organisers and bands for
a damn good show and vibe this
year, and to anyone that came
and saw us, you rocked! We had
some pretty crazy crowds on this
tour, thanks for rockin. was nice
to finish the touring playing with
Jimmy Eat World and Gyroscope
too! So what now? Well,
Gleesides and Sparities is out
there and doing it's thing, thanks
to anyone who has voted for
""Minutes"" on the Net 50, been
nice to see it on that. Chris has
been overseas until tonight so
there hasn't been much
rehearsing action happening but
now we are all looking forward to
getting in the rehearsal room
again. We should be demoing by
the end of March and then may
dust off the axes again for a little
while, stay tuned on that. Hope
you are all well, look for some
more updates soon!

19-03-2003 00:00:00 :: It's all happening!!
Well, what a few weeks! Camp
Jeb has had a bunch of things
going on lately, some which we
coudn't really share for awhile.
So, as most of you know we
parted ways with our label
Murmur / Sony. Thanks to all the
people that called or left
messages on the board voicing
their concern, but please, don't
stress. We are not stressed, so
you shouldn't be. It will be a
bummer not to be working with
some of the people we have
worked with in the past, but this
event opens up a whole world of
exciting opportunities for us,
which will become clear as time
passes.
We also were lucky enough to
get offered some great shows in
Canada and the US, and were
very excited about headlining a
day at the World Snow and Ski
Festival in Whistler. Then...our
dear drummer boy Mr Brett
Mitchell gets some not so great
news. Poor old Brett had
managed to damage his back a
little on the BDO tour (we think)
without realising it. Can't be too
bad then, but part of the healing
process has him in a lot of pain
and gradually losing feeling in
his left leg. Oh Oh. So we cancel
all our touring (sorry to anyone
that had found out about a show
and was looking forward to it, we
will be back) and rehearsing and
Brett goes under the knife. All
has gone swimmingly and even
better Brett now has a jar of gunk
that was scraped out of his back
and a secret valium stash. The
scar isn't too impressive, but only
compared to Kev's appendix
butchering. Anyway, Jebediah hit
the rehearsal room again on
Friday to continue work on album
# 4 and it's all good, but we just
thought we would let you know
about what's been going on. Stay
tuned for updates a little more
regularly from now on. Team Jeb"
11-04-2003 00:00:00 :: Update # 07889.7
Hi, welcome to the end of
summer. Man Perth has been
turning on some storms lately.
We haven't had too much to
report, no shows booked for the
first 1/2 of this year and it's likely
to stay that way. We have just
been rehearsing now that Brett is
back in action, and we spent this
week researching various
microphones etc so we can set
up the home demo studio a little
better. Brett the Correcter has
been on the case, so we start
demoing 8 songs for the new
record on Tuesday. Finally starts
to feel like we are on the way to
an album, long way off yet but we
are getting there now. Hell, now
we are not on any particular label
we are demoing for ourselves,
which makes the process in the
rehearsal room a lot more fun!
We are going to track the drums
and some other bits and pieces
in a rehearsal room and then do
overdubs wherever we can make
a shitload of noise, watch out
neighbors. We will let y'all know
how it's going. Stay well! Team
Jeb."
12-05-2003 00:00:00 :: Aloha!
Hi there. slow on the updates, at
least we are not just doing
updates for the sake of it huh?
Trust your friends at Team Jeb to
only give you news when there is
some!! So, demoing is going
well, we are tracking about 10
songs at the moment, but by the
time we have finished this batch
we will have some more songs
ready to go, I suppose we may
want to re-do a couple of the first
batch as well. The more we use
these machines the better we get
at it. We hope to be able to post
some video of demoing at some
point, but don't hold your breath,
that will be another case of
grappling with technology.
Anyway, we have everything
down except vocals now, and
when Kev gets back from his little
overseas jaunt the demos will be
finished. Speaking of Kev he has
been busy working on the ""Bob
Evans"" record, which is now
tracked and will be mixed in a
couple of weeks. There might
even be some cameos on that if
you know what we mean.
Speaking of cameos (anyone
remember that band with the big
lips? Owwwwww) Vanessa has
been doing a little bass
moonlighting in Perth band End
of Fashion, she plays her first gig
this week, they have a few shows
coming up so check em out, few
familiar faces in that band! Check
in again soon folks, the Jeb train
is going to start rolling again in a
big way soon. Cop ya later."
24-06-2003 00:00:00 :: Demo's, shows and action!
Hey there peeps. Hope you are
all well. We have been enjoying
the blue sky's of Winter in Perth
and wondering if we will have
drinking water in summer. Time
will tell on that one! It's been a
little quiet on Hotel Motel but ever
since Kev got back we have
been busier than ever. We have
been rehearsing and demoing
new material 3 times a week, it's
been a bit of a rash of new
songs, we are writing them faster
than we can demo them at the
moment which is cool. We will be
rehearsing for some WA shows
now though, so it will be back to
remembering some of our older
stuff, which may be harder than
you would think! Anyway, we will
have some regional WA tour
dates up in a couple of days and
you may see us pop up a little
more than we have since the
BDO. Looking forward to playing
again! Anyway, will update the
tour dates soon, check out the
messageboard and vote on
whether to keep the current one
or not, and stay well. Oh yeah
and that Bob guy finished mixing.
Schweet! "
30-06-2003 00:00:00 :: Tour Dates Up
Peoples of the internerd, as
promised we have the dates for
our little northern jaunt posted up
on the tour section. Some of the
shows are our own pub shows,
and the others are part of the
Bands, Bikes and Boards tour
that we are doing. yes we know
the notice is kinda late but hey
we only were asked to do this run
a week ago, what can we say! If
you are up that way check out a
show if you can, will be a few
newies in the set as well.
We may even be able to sort out
a tour diary.....no promises
though! See you at the shows!
Oh and by the way, the Mitchell Mouths Off section has been updated as well.
"
07-07-2003 00:00:00 :: BBB Tour Cancelled
Well, thems the breaks hey? First
time we go out on tour for 6
months and half the dates get
cancellled. Ah well out of our
control really, the weather has
put an end to the BBB part of our
northern run, but never fear, the
trusty Jeb rock machine is going
to keep on moving, all the pub
shows will stay as is, but no
Xtreme action we're afraid. We
thought about turning back but by
then we were in Exmouth and the
thought of a couple of extra days
here wasn't exactly a horrible
one. The weather is lousy in
Perth at the moment, which
makes snorkelling kinda hard,
they seem to have it sussed here
though! Hope to see you at a pub
show!"
11-07-2003 00:00:00 :: Tour Diary Added!
Yes, I know it's hard to believe
but we have come through finally
and put a new tour diary up on
the website. Courtesy of Brett
(with a little help from Kev) read
about the bumpy (and wet) start
to the BBB tour in the Jebediaries
section. Plan is to do another one
before the end of the tour, and if
we get the technology right (that's
a big if ladies and gents) we
might even be able to add some
photo's.
Later!
"
21-07-2003 00:00:00 :: Quick Update
Just letting you all know that the
full tour diary from the Northwest
run is now up in the Jebediaries
section. Congrats go out to Brett,
this is the first time he has
actually finished one. We will
have some photo's from the tour
up in the next couple of days. In
the meantime we are continueing
to jam and demo, Kev wrote a
hell of a lot of lyrics during the trip
up north so most of the new
songs are really taking shape.
Thanks to anyone who came to
the shows up north!
23/7 STOP PRESS!! Photo's are up dude..."
27-07-2003 00:00:00 :: Irregular Happenings
Thanks to anyone who came to
Showbags CD launch last night
and thought that the opening
band were alright. We thought
The Regulars were pretty good
for their first show but they wore
their influences on their sleeve a
little too much. Thanks Showbag!
On other news, Mitchell Mouths
Off has been updated once
again, because here at Team
Jeb we give and we give...."
30-07-2003 00:00:00 :: New Songs
So, we popped up under the
radar the other night and played
a few new tunes. It was a bunch
of fun and was great to be back
on the Amplifier stage instead of
just holding up the bar as they
sweep the place out in the
morning. For the benefit of those
of you who are interested in
those kind of things, here are the
titles of the new tracks that we
played, I do believe in order of
appearance. ""Josephine"",
""Worlds Away"", ""Loaded Gun"",
Something Tells Me"", ""Sound of
Your Life"", ""The Seven Signs of
Aging"" and ""Braxton Hicks"". We
have another 9 new tunes
kicking around as well so are
starting to feel like a new album
is taking shape. Respect....."
27-08-2003 00:00:00 :: WAMI / Bob Evans
Hi there folks, just thought we
would let you know that we finally
have a gig coming up in Perth,
we are playing at the Globe
Theatre for the Kiss My Wami
closing party on Sat 13th of Sept.
Other on the bill include Kuling
Bros, Halogen, Tucker B's
Fourstroke and a bunch of
others, hope to see you there. In
other news, some of you may
have seen our fearless singer
Kev in his intimite mode, ie
playing out as Bob Evans. He
has finally recorded an album as
Bob, and is putting it out on Sept
8th. He also has his own little bit
of webspace, and you can find
out more about his solo
adventures at Bob
Evans . Oh yeah, we started
checking out studios the other
day as the date to start recording
a new Jebediah album moves
ever closer. More news soon.
"
15-09-2003 00:00:00 :: Stuff n things
Hey there people, just a short
update to let you know what is
going on... we are getting ready
to go into the studio to record a
new track as a bit of a test run for
the new album, not 100% sure
what we will do with it yet but it
will be out before the end of the
year. The track, not the album.
More news on that as it comes to
hand! We are also planning
some shows before the end of
the year, and they won't
necessarily be in Australia, but
stay tuned for that one. Oh yeah,
and Kevin has his ""Bob Evans""
solo record instore now (thru
Redline of course!) and is
heading around the country this
week to launch it, more details on
Bob
Evans dot com dot au come
and say hi!
Cheers!
"
24-09-2003 00:00:00 :: Why hello there friends
Well, this Fri we are going into
the studio for the first time in a
long time. Yes indeed, we are
heading into Kingdom Studios in
Perth to record a track as a little
test for how we want to do the
album. Just popping in for a
couple of days to lay down one
new track, which will surface in
some form or another later this
year. We have our good friend
and fellow lover of beer Matt
Lovell coming over to twist some
knobs for us, can't wait to hear
the results!
Word up to the folks at the WAMI
closing party for rocking with us
until late in the night. It was good
fun, and nice to bust out some
tunes that we haven't played in a
long time! Hope you dug the new
stuff as well.
In other news we are working on
some dates in the UK which we
should be able to announce in a
couple of days, looking forward
to our first trip to Blighty as a
band! Details soon. Oh, and a hot tip. Listen to the upcoming You Am I JJJ LATW, it's a ripper and you may get a surprise. LATER!"
07-10-2003 00:00:00 :: Recording / UK Tour
Hi there people. Some of you
may have been aware of some
recent rumours about an
impendding UK tour. Well we are
happy to confirm them, the new
tour dates are in the appropriate
section on this very site. Not only
are we doing some of our own
shows in London and Edinburgh,
those lovely lads in Powderfinger
were nice enough to invite us on
some shows with them as well,
so we will be playing some
places like Shepherds Bush
Empire etc. We are looking
forward to our first taste of the
UK, and hope that we see lots of
friendly faces there. Tickets for all
shows are available at
'http://www.ticketweb.co.uk'>
Ticketweb and they are
selling fast (two London
Powderfinger shows already sold
out) so get on it! In other news,
the recording we did at Kingdom
came out pretty damn sweet, we
will get it mastered in the next
week or so and then let you know
what is going to happen with it.
We will be finalising details of the
album recording in the next week
or so as well. There may be a
couple of warm up shows before
the tour so stay tuned, more
news soon.
"
14-10-2003 00:00:00 :: Warm Up Shows / UK Date Added
In order to dust off the cobwebs
and to be in tip top form for our
English friends we have added a
couple of Australian dates before
the UK tour. In fact we are quite
excited, we have not played in
Collie before, and there aren't
many places we can say that
about. So, Fri Oct 24th in Collie
@ The Crown Hotel and Sat Oct
25th in Dunsborough @ The 3
Bears Bar. More details in tour
dates tomorrow. We havee also
added one final show to our UK
tour, on Sun 9th Nov we will be
playing a club Called West 1 4 in
East Kensington. As always
href='http://www.ticketweb.co.uk'>
Ticketweb is the place to get
your UK Jebediah action. We will
have a few days off between the
last Powderfinger show and this
gig, perhaps Bob will dust off the
guitar, or perhaps those flights
we have priced to Amsterdam
will get a guernsey, stay tuned!
"
22-10-2003 00:00:00 :: Update
We sent out a mailout today with
a whole bunch of new info on it! If
you didn't get it then you missed
the hell out, sign up to the
mailing list NOW spanky....
To encapsulate, we mentioned
how much fun we are going to
have in the UK and at the warm
up shows on the weekend,
commented on how damn COOL
our new message board is (sign
up to that too!), passed comment
on the changes which are going
to happen with this site, including
special goodies on relaunch,
briefly touched on dates for the
new recording and sent through
the flyer for the UK gigs. Feel
ripped off you didn't get all this
Jeb love? Sign up or be damned!"
25-11-2003 00:00:00 :: Break in Transmission ends!
Phew. Ladies and Gentlemen,
sorry for the break in
transmission. It's been a long
month. So, the UK tour ended
and in our normal tradition we
did the last show, had a little
party, then got on the damn
plane straight away. We would
like to thank all the wonderful
people who helped us out with
our first UK tour, Gabe, Julie,
Fergus, Kate, Andrew and crew
at the Brook Green and whoever
was cooking those breakfasts.
Big shout out to Powderfinger as
well for dragging us along on
their tour. We are getting some
photo's soon and may even have
some video from one of the
shows at some point, depending
on how it sounds! Now we are
making final preparations for
recording, which is starting in the
first week of Jan. We will also be
playing in Perth on NYE, stay
tuned for details on that one. It
will be all ages. More news as it
comes to hand."
08-12-2003 00:00:00 :: NYE / Album News
Hey there folks, just a quick
update. We are now officially in
pre production for album number
4. For those of you wondering
what that means, we are going
over all the songs and finalising
what ones of the 20 or so that we
have are actually going to be
recorded. We are going over the
winners and demoing them,
trying different production ideas
and generally making sure that
the moment we step in the studio
we are 100% on the mofo. It's
pretty exciting to be doing things
in this fashion too, but more on
that later. In other news we are
also doing a show in Perth on
NYE, which looks to be the last
show we will do pre recording.
We will be playing at Gloucester
Park Racecourse with our old
mates Magic Dirt, plus all the
usual fireworks and festivities. Oh
and horses we guess. It's all
ages and really cheap, so try and
make it down if you can. Make
sure you keep an eye on the site
in the next couple of weeks as
there is going to be a bunch of
changes and surprises, as well
as a few little gifts.... we have
some new toys and aren't afraid
to use them!!"

been a bit of a rash of new
songs, we are writing them faster
than we can demo them at the
moment which is cool. We will be
rehearsing for some WA shows
now though, so it will be back to
remembering some of our older
stuff, which may be harder than
you would think! Anyway, we will
have some regional WA tour
dates up in a couple of days and
you may see us pop up a little
more than we have since the
BDO. Looking forward to playing
again! Anyway, will update the
tour dates soon, check out the
messageboard and vote on
whether to keep the current one
or not, and stay well. Oh yeah
and that Bob guy finished mixing.
Schweet! "
30-06-2003 00:00:00 :: Tour Dates Up
Peoples of the internerd, as
promised we have the dates for
our little northern jaunt posted up
on the tour section. Some of the
shows are our own pub shows,
and the others are part of the
Bands, Bikes and Boards tour
that we are doing. yes we know
the notice is kinda late but hey
we only were asked to do this run
a week ago, what can we say! If
you are up that way check out a
show if you can, will be a few
newies in the set as well.
We may even be able to sort out
a tour diary.....no promises
though! See you at the shows!
Oh and by the way, the Mitchell Mouths Off section has been updated as well.
"
07-07-2003 00:00:00 :: BBB Tour Cancelled
Well, thems the breaks hey? First
time we go out on tour for 6
months and half the dates get
cancellled. Ah well out of our
control really, the weather has
put an end to the BBB part of our
northern run, but never fear, the
trusty Jeb rock machine is going
to keep on moving, all the pub
shows will stay as is, but no
Xtreme action we're afraid. We
thought about turning back but by
then we were in Exmouth and the
thought of a couple of extra days
here wasn't exactly a horrible
one. The weather is lousy in
Perth at the moment, which
makes snorkelling kinda hard,
they seem to have it sussed here
though! Hope to see you at a pub
show!"
11-07-2003 00:00:00 :: Tour Diary Added!
Yes, I know it's hard to believe
but we have come through finally
and put a new tour diary up on
the website. Courtesy of Brett
(with a little help from Kev) read
about the bumpy (and wet) start
to the BBB tour in the Jebediaries
section. Plan is to do another one
before the end of the tour, and if
we get the technology right (that's
a big if ladies and gents) we
might even be able to add some
photo's.
Later!
"
21-07-2003 00:00:00 :: Quick Update
Just letting you all know that the
full tour diary from the Northwest
run is now up in the Jebediaries
section. Congrats go out to Brett,
this is the first time he has
actually finished one. We will
have some photo's from the tour
up in the next couple of days. In
the meantime we are continueing
to jam and demo, Kev wrote a
hell of a lot of lyrics during the trip
up north so most of the new
songs are really taking shape.
Thanks to anyone who came to
the shows up north!
23/7 STOP PRESS!! Photo's are up dude..."
27-07-2003 00:00:00 :: Irregular Happenings
Thanks to anyone who came to
Showbags CD launch last night
and thought that the opening
band were alright. We thought
The Regulars were pretty good
for their first show but they wore
their influences on their sleeve a
little too much. Thanks Showbag!
On other news, Mitchell Mouths
Off has been updated once
again, because here at Team
Jeb we give and we give...."
30-07-2003 00:00:00 :: New Songs
So, we popped up under the
radar the other night and played
a few new tunes. It was a bunch
of fun and was great to be back
on the Amplifier stage instead of
just holding up the bar as they
sweep the place out in the
morning. For the benefit of those
of you who are interested in
those kind of things, here are the
titles of the new tracks that we
played, I do believe in order of
appearance. ""Josephine"",
""Worlds Away"", ""Loaded Gun"",
Something Tells Me"", ""Sound of
Your Life"", ""The Seven Signs of
Aging"" and ""Braxton Hicks"". We
have another 9 new tunes
kicking around as well so are
starting to feel like a new album
is taking shape. Respect....."
27-08-2003 00:00:00 :: WAMI / Bob Evans
Hi there folks, just thought we
would let you know that we finally
have a gig coming up in Perth,
we are playing at the Globe
Theatre for the Kiss My Wami
closing party on Sat 13th of Sept.
Other on the bill include Kuling
Bros, Halogen, Tucker B's
Fourstroke and a bunch of
others, hope to see you there. In
other news, some of you may
have seen our fearless singer
Kev in his intimite mode, ie
playing out as Bob Evans. He
has finally recorded an album as
Bob, and is putting it out on Sept
8th. He also has his own little bit
of webspace, and you can find
out more about his solo
adventures at Bob
Evans . Oh yeah, we started
checking out studios the other
day as the date to start recording
a new Jebediah album moves
ever closer. More news soon.
"
15-09-2003 00:00:00 :: Stuff n things
Hey there people, just a short
update to let you know what is
going on... we are getting ready
to go into the studio to record a
new track as a bit of a test run for
the new album, not 100% sure
what we will do with it yet but it
will be out before the end of the
year. The track, not the album.
More news on that as it comes to
hand! We are also planning
some shows before the end of
the year, and they won't
necessarily be in Australia, but
stay tuned for that one. Oh yeah,
and Kevin has his ""Bob Evans""
solo record instore now (thru
Redline of course!) and is
heading around the country this
week to launch it, more details on
Bob
Evans dot com dot au come
and say hi!
Cheers!
"
24-09-2003 00:00:00 :: Why hello there friends
Well, this Fri we are going into
the studio for the first time in a
long time. Yes indeed, we are
heading into Kingdom Studios in
Perth to record a track as a little
test for how we want to do the
album. Just popping in for a
couple of days to lay down one
new track, which will surface in
some form or another later this
year. We have our good friend
and fellow lover of beer Matt
Lovell coming over to twist some
knobs for us, can't wait to hear
the results!
Word up to the folks at the WAMI
closing party for rocking with us
until late in the night. It was good
fun, and nice to bust out some
tunes that we haven't played in a
long time! Hope you dug the new
stuff as well.
In other news we are working on
some dates in the UK which we
should be able to announce in a
couple of days, looking forward
to our first trip to Blighty as a
band! Details soon. Oh, and a hot tip. Listen to the upcoming You Am I JJJ LATW, it's a ripper and you may get a surprise. LATER!"
07-10-2003 00:00:00 :: Recording / UK Tour
Hi there people. Some of you
may have been aware of some
recent rumours about an
impendding UK tour. Well we are
happy to confirm them, the new
tour dates are in the appropriate
section on this very site. Not only
are we doing some of our own
shows in London and Edinburgh,
those lovely lads in Powderfinger
were nice enough to invite us on
some shows with them as well,
so we will be playing some
places like Shepherds Bush
Empire etc. We are looking
forward to our first taste of the
UK, and hope that we see lots of
friendly faces there. Tickets for all
shows are available at
'http://www.ticketweb.co.uk'>
Ticketweb and they are
selling fast (two London
Powderfinger shows already sold
out) so get on it! In other news,
the recording we did at Kingdom
came out pretty damn sweet, we
will get it mastered in the next
week or so and then let you know
what is going to happen with it.
We will be finalising details of the
album recording in the next week
or so as well. There may be a
couple of warm up shows before
the tour so stay tuned, more
news soon.
"
14-10-2003 00:00:00 :: Warm Up Shows / UK Date Added
In order to dust off the cobwebs
and to be in tip top form for our
English friends we have added a
couple of Australian dates before
the UK tour. In fact we are quite
excited, we have not played in
Collie before, and there aren't
many places we can say that
about. So, Fri Oct 24th in Collie
@ The Crown Hotel and Sat Oct
25th in Dunsborough @ The 3
Bears Bar. More details in tour
dates tomorrow. We havee also
added one final show to our UK
tour, on Sun 9th Nov we will be
playing a club Called West 1 4 in
East Kensington. As always
href='http://www.ticketweb.co.uk'>
Ticketweb is the place to get
your UK Jebediah action. We will
have a few days off between the
last Powderfinger show and this
gig, perhaps Bob will dust off the
guitar, or perhaps those flights
we have priced to Amsterdam
will get a guernsey, stay tuned!
"
22-10-2003 00:00:00 :: Update
We sent out a mailout today with
a whole bunch of new info on it! If
you didn't get it then you missed
the hell out, sign up to the
mailing list NOW spanky....
To encapsulate, we mentioned
how much fun we are going to
have in the UK and at the warm
up shows on the weekend,
commented on how damn COOL
our new message board is (sign
up to that too!), passed comment
on the changes which are going
to happen with this site, including
special goodies on relaunch,
briefly touched on dates for the
new recording and sent through
the flyer for the UK gigs. Feel
ripped off you didn't get all this
Jeb love? Sign up or be damned!"
25-11-2003 00:00:00 :: Break in Transmission ends!
Phew. Ladies and Gentlemen,
sorry for the break in
transmission. It's been a long
month. So, the UK tour ended
and in our normal tradition we
did the last show, had a little
party, then got on the damn
plane straight away. We would
like to thank all the wonderful
people who helped us out with
our first UK tour, Gabe, Julie,
Fergus, Kate, Andrew and crew
at the Brook Green and whoever
was cooking those breakfasts.
Big shout out to Powderfinger as
well for dragging us along on
their tour. We are getting some
photo's soon and may even have
some video from one of the
shows at some point, depending
on how it sounds! Now we are
making final preparations for
recording, which is starting in the
first week of Jan. We will also be
playing in Perth on NYE, stay
tuned for details on that one. It
will be all ages. More news as it
comes to hand."
08-12-2003 00:00:00 :: NYE / Album News
Hey there folks, just a quick
update. We are now officially in
pre production for album number
4. For those of you wondering
what that means, we are going
over all the songs and finalising
what ones of the 20 or so that we
have are actually going to be
recorded. We are going over the
winners and demoing them,
trying different production ideas
and generally making sure that
the moment we step in the studio
we are 100% on the mofo. It's
pretty exciting to be doing things
in this fashion too, but more on
that later. In other news we are
also doing a show in Perth on
NYE, which looks to be the last
show we will do pre recording.
We will be playing at Gloucester
Park Racecourse with our old
mates Magic Dirt, plus all the
usual fireworks and festivities. Oh
and horses we guess. It's all
ages and really cheap, so try and
make it down if you can. Make
sure you keep an eye on the site
in the next couple of weeks as
there is going to be a bunch of
changes and surprises, as well
as a few little gifts.... we have
some new toys and aren't afraid
to use them!!"
